Blake came home on Saturday with a surprise for me... a refrigerator! Our old one was small and kept freezing everything no matter what. Thanks Blake! He got it at a place that sells refurbished appliances so it was cheap. With tax it was less than $350. YAY for bargains!
He is also working on getting a wood burning stove into our basement. He's tiled and grouted a spot with slate. He's knocked a 6 inch whole in the wall and now all he has to do is install it. I'm excited. It's been so cold in our basement. It's an antique looking stove. Its a dark slate bluish color with white trim. It's so cute. When it gets installed I will have to post pics.
